Lucas Pfister’s single-vineyard wine combines grapes from clay-rich and clay-gravel soils. Hand-harvested, 7–10% whole-bunch fermented with native yeasts, macerated on skins for 20 days, then aged 12 months in used barrels and lightly filtered with minimal sulphur. Expect bold dark currant and blackberry, with spice, subtle vanilla, and a refreshing firm structure that balances intensity and approachability . ABV ~12.5%.
