Like the normal Helle Schlenkerla lager, this unfiltered special bottling is brewed in the same kettles and fermented with the same yeast as the classic Aecht Schlenkerla smoked beer. This gives it a pleasant, slightly smoky aroma. In contrast to conventional storage, it is not filtered.
