Since the spring of 1999 the "Oude Geuze De Cam" has been drinking. This gueuze is filled in bottles of 37.5 and 75 cl and has an alcohol content of 6.0%. For the Oude Geuze, young lambic, with a minimum maturation of one year, and old lambic, with a minimum of two years maturation, are mixed according to the taste of the Geuzesteker. Once in the bottle, the final maturing phase follows. The result is a spontaneous fermentation beer with a typical taste and a nice head.
This gueuze is also described as quite dry, bitter and relatively less acids.
