100% Carignan made using grapes bought in from friends in Luberon, halfway between the Ardèche and Provence. As you'd expect, the wine has a sun-kissed, Mediterranean quality and was named Potion owing to its tonic-like properties that provided Remi & Patricia with restorative energy through the 2020 harvest! The grapes ferment whole-bunch for 15 days before being pressed off to old foudre for 10 months before bottling with no additions. A very open, generous wine, full of inviting herbaceous fruits, but not lacking in structure. A potion, indeed.
